I know some of you are biting your fingernails off to know my thoughts on Mass Effect 3 (okay, probably not), but before I post them I want to do one more playthrough that includes the multiplayer feature (I'm waiting on Dusty, who just imported his M!Shep into ME2). I hear it makes a big difference in the end.

So far he's really enjoying it. Can't imagine why. 

So it might be a while before I post something on it. In the meantime, I'll be at Literal Addiction tomorrow in three different spots!

Interviews, Chats, and Winners, Oh My

First off, today is going to be completely crazy, let me tell you. I have three (THREE) blogs I'm in today. The first: Novel Thoughts, where I discuss the inspiration behind Very Much Alive (and I'm giving away a free copy to a lucky poster!). The second: I Do Not Want To Wait I Want The Book Now, where they interviewed me and you find out which of my characters I'd switch lives with. And then there's the Samhellion Blog where I discuss how I need a map, a compass and a hunky guide to lead me through the minefield known as continuity.

And it's only 9:30 in the morning. Whee!

Interview and My New Year's Resolution

I have an interview, and it's with fellow DC Area Storyteller D. Renee Bagby!

What are the DC Area Storytellers? They are a group of authors who live in and around the Washington DC Area. I'd go into greater detail, but instead I'll direct you to our brand new blog. And if you happen to live in the area, take a look at our upcoming events. Perhaps we can meet you at one of our signings or at a convention.

Oh, and this year's New Year's Resolution: I shall not kill and eat my children no matter how many times they make me watch Digimon.

How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing off and on since I was thirteen years old, although in my twenties and early thirties it was more off than on. I started off writing fantasy and science fiction, and it took me a while to figure out that wasn’t where my “voice” was. Once I figured out that my style was more suited to romance, I tried writing a story for Harlequin. Well, that didn’t really pan out; trying to write for Harlequin, to give them what I thought they wanted, led me to realize that I don’t really do very well when I try to write something with a serious tone. My sense of humor got in my way. The hero kept telling me he just wanted to throw the heroine over his shoulder and cart her off for some fun in the sack.
