Blog Contest: Back-To-School eBook Giveaway!

I felt a great disturbance in the Force recently, as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced by a ringing bell. It's that time again: the kids go back to school!

Don't get me wrong. I love my boys, but I'm about done with Fart Wars and Lego minefields for the summer. I just want to sit quietly with a cup of coffee, some damn silence, a lack of poo gas and a good book.

Something I fully intend to do on August 27.

So to celebrate our little darlings going back to school, I'm giving away one ebook off of my published list (or, if you want Shadow, off my soon-to-be-published list). So here's how this one's going to work:

Post in the comments section of this blog entry before August 31. I'll even put a link on the sidebar just in case I write enough posts that this one disappears.

That's it! Easy, right?

If you win, I'll post your name in a new blog post and in this post's comments, at which point you'll have to email me with your choice of ebook and format. Good luck!

Remember: Only books that have been previously published (and Shadow) are up for grabs. The Hob, All For You and Hecate's Own are not. And an entry here does not affect your contest entry for the ARC of Shadow. That's a completely different contest.

PLEASE NOTE: I have comments on moderation due to spamming. If your post doesn't show up immediately, be patient; as soon as I receive the email I'll publish it. This is due to an inordinate amount of spam I received from China all over my blog about a year ago. It took two days to hunt down and delete all of the spam comments.

I am counting the days until my siblings go back to school! I do college online and I didn't take a quarter off over the summer, so getting my homework done while they're running around the house like maniacs has been difficult. Not to mention impossible to read, even recreationally! Bring on the school bell!

Thanks for the opportunity :)

I'm counting the days until school starts. I'm in college online and my brothers and sisters have been driving me nuts will all their time off. I can't wait until they are like me: bogged down with homework. At least while they're AT class I can get some quiet to study...

Thanks for the contest and the generosity!

So so glad school is starting soon. 16 thinks he should be able to stay up as long as he wants and get whenever he wants. Love your books. Cynful rocked.

Shadow was my 'mystery' book!

And yes, please dear goddess, let the countdown to move-in day for the kid start. I'm begging here! He may not survive until the start of school if he keeps going the way he has for the last 72 hours.

Believe it or not school started here on Aug 1. However my 2 youngest are in college and they don't go back until the end of Aug. Is it September yet?

The day your kids go back to school you should pamper yourself some how.

School here starts here on Aug. 20th and I'd love it if my son was going back to school, but because of his problems he can't handle school well, so I homeschool him instead.

ROTFLMAO I love the comment about no more poo gas. Some of our schools are starting back as early next week. It's not soon enough, either!

Such a great contest! My kiddos (and hubby who's a teacher) start back on Aug. 15. I won't really appreciate that for a bit since I'm scheduled to have a cervical disc removal and fusion on the 14th!! I'd even rather go to work like I have all summer while the stinkers slept in rather than do the surgery but it's at the point where I can't put it off anymore.

I understand the excitement of kids going back to school. Although I kind of miss it now that my kids are all grown and out of the house now. They are 24 and 26 now. Lovely ladies all on their own.

I'd love to win a copy of Shadow, Can't wait for it to come out.

Thanks for the contest Dana. I've read all the books set in Halle so far & the Gray Court ones have been on my wishlist for a while now, but didn't realize that there were some new series to add.

She's connected to all of them, really. You'll see as the series plays out. :D

Oh Dana what a great contest. I don't have children but I can understand your need to be in a poo free zone. I'm sure my mother felt the same with the 4 of us. I hope you have or had a great first day of school.
